A salad for everyone that likes seafood

This shrimp macaroni salad is a flavorful alternative to traditional ones. The recipe is simple and it takes a short time to cook.

The shrimp salad is generally used as a small sidedish. When following the procedure add the ingredients slowly to your preference.

The purpose of this simple sidedish is to be cooked for special occasions, not for everyday eating.

Preparation time: 20 minutes

:

1 box of elbows -16 oz.Shrimp
1 lb. small shrimps (cleaned and cooked)
1 small onion (chopped)
1 small sweet red bell pepper (chopped)
1 small carrot (sliced)
1/2 cup of sweet peas
salt to taste
1 tsp sugar
ground black pepper (to taste)
1 cup of low fat mayonnaise

4- Add the shrimps, onion, bell pepper, carrot, sweet peas and black pepper.

5- Now, add the low fat mayonnaise slowly. It is not necessary to add the whole cup.

6- Mix everything carefully and avoid breaking the elbows.

7- Add the salt and sugar.

8- Add some other vegetables if you wish.

9- Let the salad refrigerate for about 7 hours at least, for a better taste.
