The avocado
health benefits are essential to various functions in our organs.
Contrary to what many people believe the avocados are actually fruits
and not vegetables.
They are most of the time
used for salads and dips, but the fundamental facts are
that these fruits can help in the health of the heart, improve hair

many sizes and forms in avocados. Their skin color can be

potassium, protein, vitamin C, iron, vitamin E, vitamin B6, fiber and
other natural minerals. It is also a good source of folic acid which is
needed mostly by women that are pregnant, because it helps in the
development of the baby. The folic acid reduces the chances of
having anemia which is a condition where the red blood cells decrease
significantly. The Vitamin E found in the fruit works as an antioxidant
fighting free radical cells that can increment the possibilities of
causing certain diseases. This vitamin improves the wellness of the
skin and aside from that is related to the prevention for several
ailments like; Alzheimer's disease, cancer; also liver disease.

hypertension and promotes the healthy beating of the heart. It also
provides monounsaturated fatty acids that

The avocados can also hydrate the hair
strands and protect the scalp from the damaging rays of the sun (UVA,

It is said that they can provide vitamins for hair growth and for hair
loss prevention but is not proven yet. Anyways, many women and men
often indulge their hair with this appetizing fruit expecting some
avocado health benefits. A common way to treat the hair with the fruit
is by using a blended avocado (without skin) with 1 tbsp of organic
olive oil and leaving it for 30 minutes in the hair; then rinsing with
mild shampoo and cold water.
Other treatment for the hair is to use 1 tbsp organic avocado
oil, which is the best quality, and 1 tbsp organic olive oil and leave on
the hair for 3 hours. Then wash the hair with a mild shampoo following by

Simple Avocado Salad Recipe
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1/2 onion (chopped)
- 1 tomato (chopped)
- 1/2 garlic clove (crushed)
- 1 tsp olive oil
1- Take the avocado, slice it in 4 parts.
2- Remove the skin and seed.
3- Cut the avocado in approximately 1 cm squares.
4- In a glass container mix all the ingredients with a big salad fork.
5- Let
the salad rest in the refrigerator for 20 to 35 minutes.
