Aloe Vera
Juice
Benefits
Aloe vera juice benefits are derived from a
plant that commonly
grows in many parts of the world in dry
climates. The gel like substance inside the plant leaves has been used
for many medicinal purposes since ancient times. Some people apply it
externally to treat skin conditions and taken internally for a
variety of health benefits.
Aloe
vera juice is at times used as a treatment for digestive disorders like
irritable bowel syndrome, colitis or ulcers. It supposedly helps soothe
the digestive tract and stimulate the digestive enzymes. Aloe
vera
juice has also been known to help asthma sufferers. It is thought that
might be due to the plant's anti-inflammatory and immune system
stimulating effects. The juice's ability to boost the immune system has
also led to its use for prevention of colds, flu and also cancer.
The
plant has natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties too;
it has been the subject of many research studies for the purpose of
learning how it can be used to help human ailments.
Other conditions that might be helped by aloe vera juice benefits
include diabetes, hepatitis, hypertension and hyperlipidemia.
Because
aloe vera juice acts to reduce inflammation, it may also be useful as
an arthritis treatment. It could help prevent kidney stones, increase
blood oxygenation, and alkalize the body. The aloe vera is rich in calcium,
zinc, magnesium, Vitamin C, amino acids, enzymes, Vitamin A, E, and B12
and important minerals such as germanium. Aloe vera juice acts like an
internal cleanser and helps to clear your vessels and thin sticky
blood. It is said to clean stagnant matter from your organs of
elimination so your body is able to perform more efficiently and this
may also help with constipation, bladder infections, and hemorrhoids.
You
can obtain aloe vera juice in the form of bottled
mixtures but if you want to receive optimum nutritional benefit, you
can make it yourself, fresh, right before you drink it. If you live in
an arid climate, you can easily grow aloe plants in your yard. If your
climate is not appropriate for it, you can grow the plants indoors as
well if you have enough room.

If
you can't grow your own plants, the next best thing is to buy a cut
leaf at your local grocery store.
You may need to go to a health food
store or ethnic grocery to find one, but you can typically buy a long
thick leaf for around a couple of dollars and take it home to juice
yourself.
How to Make Aloe Vera JuiceAll you have to do is slice the leaf open and scoop
out the gel-like filling. Add it to a blender along with fresh fruit
for a delicious and healthy tasting smoothie drink.
Another simple
recipe is to add a two inch chunk of aloe vera into about eight ounces
of orange juice and mix together in a blender. Be cautious not to juice
the green part of the leaf, only take the gel internally or you might
have to deal with diarrhea as a result. When you first start drinking
it for the fresh aloe vera juice benefits, you should start with a
small amount and work
your way up to where you can handle about half a leave each day.
Consult your doctor before using it.
